I'm pregnant with my 2nd baby, and for some reason today I started thinking about the Medela electric breast-pump I had used with my son. Last time I used it was probably a year ago, maybe a little longer. Is it safe to re-use the same pump, so long as I replace the tubes and shields? It's my own pump, not borrowing from someone else. What are you ladies planning to do?

Some insurance companies will pay for them now, a change from when I had DD1. I used my best friend's and just got all the new tubing and shields. It is also about 7 years old and has been through 3 kids, so I am going to take advantage of insurance paying for a new one!

My plan was to reuse but I may take advantage of the FSA deal and pick up a new one as well. If nothing else, it will give me a spare to keep at work when I go back!
