Singing

Do any of you sing to your LO (whether currently an inside or outside baby)? 
What are your favorite songs to sing to them? 

I always find myself singing "Somewhere over the Rainbow" or "You are my Sunshine".

    I usually end up singing a lot of country to him since that is what I listen to practically all the time.  He gets whatever I'm listening to.  Once he is here, I am sure I will be singing more baby appropriate songs.

    We have lots of country music playing so she listens to that. Sometimes I think she kicks me really hard to tell me to stop singing along, though.

    I love this one but I'm seriously going to have to learn the words, I always fumble and windup making up my own.

    We listen to Ordinary Miracle by Sarah McLachlan daily. It's from Charlottes Web and is such a sweet song. I sing along but Sarah does it better!

    She hears me sing along with the radio, I belt out country , I will prob sing to her more when she's here. This is how I put my god daughters to sleep

    My girl gets a variety of singing that comes from my pandora shuffle. She seems to live Aerosmith's Dream On and she gets a lot of the Eagles lately. The most consistent three songs though are Highway Dont Care (Tim McGraw), Crash My Party (Luke Bryant) And Mommas Broken Heart (Miranda Lambert).

    I sing a lot of everything. He gets all squirmy when the girls sing him songs and lullabies though, its sweet.

    Tonight I headed out to pick up Chinese food for dinner and Redneck Woman came on the radio! I turned it up and started singing along and LO inside got all excited and wiggly! It was pretty funny! Clearly he enjoyed my singing...or not! LOL

    I sing to ds. I sing nursery rymes, and i sing him jesus loves me, but i mostly sing you are my sunshine to him.but he also hears me sing along to music

    I too sing both somewhere over the rainbow and you are my sunshine. My aunt always sang you are my sunshine to me and my sister. For whatever reason I also find myself singing the itsy bitsy spider and use my fingers on my belly as the spider. He usually responds with some wiggles so I do this when he's beig too quiet in there.

    Same! We're a country music family so that's pretty much all LO has heard at this point.

    DD sings a lot of country songs and its so cute.

    I've been singing a slow version of Sweet Child Of Mine...I've noticed now when I do, she stops kicking and moving as much.  I also sing some Beatles songs to her :)
