  I actually got a hernia after my singleton prior to the twins. I had it fixed surgically (a really easy surgery, especially in hindsight) and it hasn't come back. I was worried during my twin pregnancy b/c I had the hernia repair in April of2012, go the bfp with the twins in June 2012 ...had them in Dec 2012...it was really really not a big deal even though I was terrified and horrified.

  My primary care Dr thought the surgeon would not want to fix it if there was any of possibility of any more kids, but the actual surgeon was okay about it, although he wasn't recommending I run out and get pregnant. The twins weren't necessarily an oppsie, but for my dd and Ds it took me 2+years each to get pregnant, so I didn't think I would get a bfp the first cycle and wanted to start the process.

  Hello, My twins are 2 and 1/2 and I think it has been that long since I've been on the boards. I just had my hernia/diastasis repair and a tummy tuck on Wednesday. Give yourself some time before making any surgical decisions as you still will have swelling from the pregnancy for a while. If your hernia isn't too bad you may want to wait as I did until your children are a bit older because you will not be able to lift them for a while.

  Yep, I have a fairly small umbilical hernia. Come out a few times a day and I just push it back in. Feels pretty weird. Dr says nothing to worry about if not painful and goes back in easily. He says we can look at surgery once I am 100 percent through having babies.
