  • My night was the typical up and down. Uneventful so that's good. Nothing exciting this weekend. DH put the bookcase and end table together for the nursery last night. QOTD: At this moment I'm thankful for air conditioning. I'm also thankful for all the family that take time out of their lives to come help me.

  • Another sleepless night.. Tossing and turning.. A million bathroom runs and don't forget the back pain :( I am thinking about having the hubby buy me the maternity pillow maybe that would help. Since I couldn't sleep I decided to check out the premmie board and it really put anxiety on me :-( I can't seem to snap my brain back into thinking positive :-/ Qotd thankful for my unbelievable hubby who does everything in his power to help me.. He has such a positive light. I am truly blessed....

My night was okay except from2-3. MFM apptmt went well, regular ob apptmt with NST landed me in triage because the nurses made me lay on my back and I almost passed out. Triage sent me home after doing the NST and checking my levels.

QOTD: thankful for friends and family who have been helping out. We have been blessed with some really good friends that have been really helping.

Good morning everyone. My night was a little bit rough. I'm still having contractions with the magnesium. I took two ambiens but I still only slept four hours. I'm having a hard time getting over the shock and stress of all of this. I'm really looking forward to seeing my hubby and kids later. That should really help my mood.
QOTD: I'm so very thankful for all of our family and friends that have volunteered to help us out at a moments notice.
  • Kneeah- I just got the snoogle. Love it!

My night was horrible. Had an anxiety attack from just an all around horrible day. I was uncomfortable all day, nothing baby related I suppose but my back, hips and a headache were dragging me down. Plus the realization of how long I have been in the hospital and how much longer I have. Gave me some meds, I took another shower and I seemed to calm down ok. Hopefully today goes better.
QOTD-I am so thankful for my husband and my mom. I couldn't make it without them.
  • Update: 24w4d I had a pretty good night. I slept well. My hubby brought me my childhood teddy bear and it really helped me sleep. They started me on Indomethacine because I was still having contractions on Pro(something - brain just blanked). It makes me woozy. Drs mentioned keeping me for two weeks. The days are stretching out in front of me. Hopefully restarting work on Monday from my hospital bed will help the time pass.

QOTD: extremely thankful for my family - esp my husband. Poor guy has been working (we work from home), coordinating care and activities for my 9 yo stepdaughter, taking care of our three spoiled dogs, and taking care of me. I sent him home at 10 last night bc he was so tired. He is going to stay home for a few more hours bc he needs to rest. My parents happened to be visiting and have helped out by bringing food. My sister has visited. My inlaws have been keeping stepdaughter and now SD's best friend's family has her. So many people helping out so I can just concentrate on relaxing and growing kids.

  • I slept ok last night. I fell asleep really early which just threw my whole schedule off. I don't have anything at all going on today though. So I will probably be napping for most of it.

QOTD: I am thankful that DH got the promotion he applyed for! It was a really great raise, and it could not have come at a better time. I am so proud of him.

  • I actually slept fairly well last night. I turned the tv and lights off at 9:30, plus I am in  a room by myself now. The docs here are talking about sending me home already. I am a little nervous about that, as they say I could still have a big bleed that would require me calling an ambulance from home, or I could be fine. The goal right now is to make it to 34 weeks, hopefully with no more bleeding, and then the next goal is 37, when they will be doing a c-section.
They are about to put me on the monitor so I will come back to reply to everyone after.
QOTD: really quick, my family for sure especially my mom, who is taking care of DD a lot as DH works overnights.

  • I slept better last night but im so ready for this sinus infection I picked up at the hospital to clear up. My hip kept hurting bad and I had to keep rolling over. Im doing alot of research on what I should let the girls sleep in beside my bed for the 1st few mths. I have cribs in their nursery but beside my bed I was going to get either two bassinets or a cosleeper but after asking on the multiples board they recommend rocknplays which I have two of from my shower. I just have a hard time knowing Iif Iits good for them to sleep Iin them alk the time instead of lying flat. And im trying to figure a good twin diaper bag. Any tips are appreciated :-)
Qotd: Another vote for A/C. And my husband and mom do so much for me I dont know how id make it without them.
  • My night was okay.  DS woke up and wanted so badly to sleep in our bed.  I couldn't say no, I miss him now that he's gone 50 hours a week instead of being home with me.  I had to sleep with my back to him because he does Karate all freaking night and I don't want him to kick my belly.

QOTD: My husband.  He does SO much.  He never gets a break, I feel terrible about that.  I know he's exhausted and I wish that there was something I could help him with.  I may call my parents and ask them to take DS for a while today so DH can have a legit break.

    Morning, everyone!

The night was a good one after I finally fell asleep around 12:30 am. Just med breaks waking me up which finally coincided nicely with my need for the bathroom, for once!

I am grateful to still be pregnant and looking at 27 weeks in 3 days. I'm also very thankful for my husband and couldn't do this without him. Happy day, everyone!

Reads like lots of stress today :( hopefully the start of the new week will be better for everyone. I'm excited to meet my friends 1.5 week old daughter today!!

Qotd: I'm thankful that I think DH and I found a daycare for dd. we love the one our older dd was in, but she was there part time and the baby will be full time and we just can't afford that daycare and after school for older dd at the daycare we love. We had bad luck with our search (including several daycares that refused to share their rate over the phone, even though I'm on bed rest). So I'm thrilled we found a place we feel comfortable with

  • Kneenah, I know nicu will be a rough road but they can do wonders in there. Should we need it, the babies will be in good hands!

    E74, 31w tomorrow! Thank you!

Sorry for those that had a rough night. I hope tonight and tomorrow will be better!

Hoping&praying, I'm going to have a pnp in my bedroom, as well as rnp. I asked the same question on the multiples board. The incline of the rnp is good for babies that have reflux. I've heard most preemies do. I splurged on a diaper bag and got the Ju Ju Be Prepared. I've read the bigger skip hop duo or something is liked by mom's of multiples.

    Have a great day everyone!

  • I slept okay last night, but my BP was super high again. So frustrating! Took my meds, waited an hour, and retook it and still high. Since the numbers were at the point dr said to call, I called. Into L&D for monitoring and of course, it starts lower and continues to drop. While I'm glad it's down, I'm going crazy with it jumping all around! So, I was sent home and told to stop monitoring my BP at home. He'll monitor it twice a week when I come into the office. And he's still not 100% that MBR is necessary; he's willing to let it happen since the MFM made that suggestion. Starting to make me feel crazy! Tomorrow is my 11th anniversary to my wonderful husband. QOTD: I am thankful to have my husband back from Japan. It's been hard having him so far away while my BP decided to yo- yo. I'm also thankful my mom came to take care of me this last week and we didn't want to strangle each other!
