Rythmic feeling...

I have been having a rhythmic thumping in my lower abdomen close to pelvic bone. I know it is not gas. they are less than half a second apart. I am thinking it is hiccups, but I have never felt anything like this throughout this entire pregnancy or my first one. Anyone else feeling this or know what it is? It has been happening for about 5 min straight.
