Just curious. My LO is still mostly immobile. She sits like a champ, but doesn't seem interested in moving. At all. If she gets tired of sitting, she topples over and "lays there like a beached whale," as her day care teacher put it. She was fairly late with learning to roll over (almost 5 months old when she rolled for the first time). She still doesn't roll often, and even now she'll get caught on her arm and get stuck. She can stand if I stand her up, but she doesn't like it and tries to sit down again after a few seconds. When she's sitting, she will spin herself around to face in different directions, and she will lean over to reach for toys, but that's about it. The most she's ever moved is about a foot in any direction.
Anyway, I know that crawling isn't really a developmental milestone and that some babies never crawl, but I'm starting to worry about it despite my best efforts not to.

I think it is mostly her personality, and maybe also it's because she's getting pretty chubby from sitting around all the time! But it also seems like she's starting to get frustrated about being immobile, even though she never makes any effort to move. Does anyone else have an immobile baby? Or a late mover?
Re: Anyone else have a baby who still isn't crawling?
I am a lot less worried about it this round. With Madi I was paranoid lol!

My 2 yr old was a late crawler ( 11 and a half months) so I'm not worried right now. He will probably be a late walker too like his brother ( 16 months)

She has a peculiar way of sitting up from lying down. She pushes up through a split to get to sitting and that's the only way she can do it. (So if she's on her back, she either rolls over first or lays there and yells). She bum scoots and clearly has no idea how to crawl.
I'm not overly worried about milestones usually but I just have a feeling she's much further behind than she should be. :-/
