1. How far along are you? 40 weeks + 4

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? Nope.

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.? I had a rough day yesterday. Was miserable most of the day, I think mainly from lack of sleep... I let myself get too excited about losing my MP and stayed up half the night waiting for something to start. lol I improved last night after a good cry, though, and sorted through some old costume jewellery to get rid of, so I at least felt semi-productive. Feeling better this morning so far. I slept pretty well, DH made a good breakfast of bacon and eggs, and I'm going to try to do some cleaning. Not sure if this is nesting, but it's definitely the most I've felt like doing in a long time. Trying not to read too far into it, though.

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.? My DH is borderline driving me nuts. He keeps asking if I've had anymore contractions, if the baby is coming, etc. I think he's just trying to be involved, though, so I'm letting it go. The rest of my family has been pretty good, mainly just leaving me alone, which is what I want. My mother calls every day, but she's fine if I don't answer and text her and tell her I don't want to talk. haha

First off, thanks to MrsErinH for suggesting this daily post for us to unite, vent, and not feel alone as we journey over 40weeks! Aehamilton thank you for starting todays thread!

1. How far along are you? Today is 40w6d

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? Induction monday. I posted in the thread yesterday that we are telling family & friends my induction is scheduled for wednesday, but i want to tell my mom so bad! But i dont want to at the same time and surprise everyone on monday when they least expect it.

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.? TMI... I lost a 4th MP this morning. Is that normal? This one was tinged with dark blood, where the others have been clear/yellow. The first two were quarter size, the last two were nickle size... Hoping something happens before monday.

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.? Everyone is getting impatient as the days pass by. They just want to meet her, and with the duchess delivering a few days ago never helped, added some pressure. DH is so bummed she didnt come yet, since his week didnt pan out as he expected it would. SIL was planning to fly out immediately and stay for a week if she was ontime... But she has a vacation coming up so we wont see her for a few more weeks! I dont want her to stay at my house, so im happy its working out this way.

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments?

I had an appt on friday and found out I was only 1 cm dilated but my cervix was soft. Doc attempted a membrane sweep (ouch) and told me if I didn't deliver by friday then he is going to induce me. I am not very comfortable with the whole inducing prospect but I don't have much of a choice in the matter (Mil hospital and health problems) So I am just hoping that little Abigail decides she wants to come out before friday.

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.?

Have been having on and off timeable conx but no increase in pain. After the membrane sweep I was having conx like crazy and was all excited to think she could be coming soon, but no dice. So here I am just waiting for her to come out and I just want to go into hibernation until she comes. My whole body hurts!

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue?

DH has been doing his best to keep my spirits up and keep me from snapping on people that keep asking me those same couple questions or calling all hours of the day. I feel bad though because I can't get comfortable at all to sleep and my tossing and turning is keeping him up at night which in turn is making him cranky too. As far as extended family goes the IL have been nice about keeping their distance but my family hasn't. I have gotten phone calls from my family every day asking, "did you pop yet?" as if I would forget to call them if their granddaughter was born. Oh geese this kind of turned into a rant. Ok I'm done!

1. How far along are you? 40 weeks + 5

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? had one yesterday. They said I was over 80% effaced and baby is somewhere between a 0 and -1 station but little to no dilating. Had contractions during the nonstress test that were uncomfortable but didn't hurt. Nurse couldn't believe I didn't really notice them since they were pretty significant apparently. Great. Appointment on Monday to possibly talk about inducing since my bp went up... They want to check on that stuff. I just want baby out! Also, I think three people might have slipped up and forgot that I'm team green. If so I'm so disappointed.

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.? I just want everyone to go away and leave me the eff alone. When baby comes we will let you know.

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.? They are supportive.... I just can't deal. Not. In. The. Mood.

I think the MP thing is normal. Mine came out in bits over the course of 2 days.

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? Induction scheduled to begin Monday night.

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.? Been having contractions that range from 5-15 minutes apart for almost 18 hours now. They also vary in intensity. What a mindf*ck. Just want her to get here and if I could avoid the induction Monday that would be great. Trying to be patient and work through and around the contractions.

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.? DH has been amazing - taking care of me but not being intrusive. He can tell by one look or my "vibe" whether or not I want to be left alone. Staying away from my parents for now. Hoping these contractions actually go somewhere today and lead us to L&D but in the meantime, we are laying low.

aAnyone else having terrible ctx after peeing? Everytime I go, which is all the time, it hurts like something stupid. It's awful!

I'm not even overdue, and my family is hovering. My sister texts me like every hour to see if I am contracting. I assured everyone that I will let them know if anything is happening, but nothing is happening!!

Yes to the painful contractions after peeing. Not sure why it happens but it has been a recent (and not fun) development over the last few days.

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.?Been having some cramping, but no contractions. I want to know what a contraction feels like! Oh well.

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.? They were more annoying the past few days. Today has been quiet, but I also haven't checked my phone for a few hours. DH doesn't understand how I feel, but he does what I ask of him.

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? Most recent was Monday. Not dilated at all and we scheduled an induction to start Sunday night.
3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.? Sure wish I would dilate. I'm effacing and had enough Braxton hicks to cover for a few people. But no dilation.
4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.? Everyone's being fine. And an induction is allowing for the grandmas to be here for the birth too. Which wouldn't have worked out otherwise since they're both so far away.

1. How far along are you? 40 weeks, but nothing new is happening.

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? NST Monday with talk of a possible induction.

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.? I was 3cm for 2 weeks, and was dilated a whole 4 cm last Wednesday. Like most of you, I'm just ready to meet this little one.

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.? They are being supportive, but getting impatient. My SO keeps asking me to wait a little longer since he is out of town on a job. I keep telling him its his turn to be pregnant next time.

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.? Have had BH contractions ever since week 17 or so, but I never considered them time-able. Today I was in the car for 45 minutes and decided to pay attention to a few -- they were definitely every 4-6 minutes. I was shocked, but they don't hurt or change in intensity. No other signs of labor either. Hoping I make some progress without realizing it, but not holding my breath about it either.

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.? SO texted me mid-day *every* day last week asking if there was anything new to report. Now I think he gets it. Family + friends are excited to meet the LO and are sporadically sending texts -- I ignore most of them. Tried to combat it by posting the helpful website haveyouhadthatbabyyet.com on FB, but friends are still asking, "So, really, what's up with the baby?" Oy.

40 w 4 days
US scheduled for mon, NST and appt on wed.
I just want to see some progress. No contx since thurs. Last check was 4-5 CM dilated. I also have a really tender spot on the side of my uterus lower down on the right side.
MH is being supportive but annoying. He constantly asks about contx that don't exist.

@fabk - My hubby is constantly asking me about contx that don't exist too. I had maybe 1 a few days ago that hurt enough for me to say something, and ever since then, every time he goes out and comes back, he'll ask how the contx are coming. They aren't!! Leave me alone! lol

Hey!

1) Only one day overdue, but it feels like so much more *whine*

2) My next appt is tomorrow morning, but the Dr. said she won't induce before I'm one week overdue, so it's more of a check-in

3) The baby hasn't dropped at all, I don't feel like my boobs have gotten any bigger, and the swelling in my feet/hands has gone down. Feel like I'm going back in time, honestly.

4) Well, BF is being very cool about it. In the past few days, he's taken to winking at my stomach and saying "how about coming out now? It's really quite nice out here"

It's just, there's so much I will only be able to do once the baby is here (passport fotos, airline tickets, application for maternity leave...) that I feel like time is being wasted with every day she's not out. I should just lean back and relax.

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? U/S and appt tomorrow. Set to be induced Tuesday night.

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.? Not loving prodromal labor, just want to get it on and go naturally before the induction! Scared of pitocin and no epi... We'll see!

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.?
H is amazing... The rest of them are just driving me nuts. So glad we live so far away at this point.

1. How far along are you? 40 weeks, 3 days

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? Saw doc on Monday. 70% effaced, 1 cm dialated. Ultrasound on Thurs. and he decides to induce. He looked for an opening on Friday, but there weren't any, so he decides not to schedule it until Monday. (so.....at one point he wanted it done the NEXT DAY until it interfered with his weekend and he put me off until Monday....hhmmm......)

3. Anything you'd like to talk about, share, vent about, etc.? lol. Think I just did!! I have gestational diabetes and this whole time my doc has been ordering all these extra tests to make sure baby isn't too big and talks about how we might have to take him early, and then he still lets me go overdue!!!! What the....??!!!

4. QOTD: How is your significant other/family coping with you being overdue? Are they being supportive, driving you nuts, etc.?

People are starting to drive me nuts. I haven't told my family that we are being induced tomorrow so they keep texting me asking if I had the baby yet. Don't ya think I would let you all know?? Seriously......
