Clothes don't fit and shaving sucks!

Well I bought a few new maxi skirts 2 weeks ago and now one of them no longer fits, it wasn't even snug when I bought it! And TMI, I can't see my lady parts so shaving is a nightmare, but I hate being hairy...and I'm scared to get waxed...so I am just really frustrated! Anyone else frustrated with their new body?

  • Um, yeah.  It started to hit me when some of my maternity shirts don't even cover my belly anymore.   What!?  O_O

Almost ALL my shirts don't cover my belly anymore!! And my ladybits have been hidden since 4 months!

Agree with all the above. I am down to a pair of shorts and a pair of jeans and a handful of shirts. I have tons of cute maternity clothes but they are just too stinking small! As for shaving, I'm doing it blind... And it's only happening a couple times a week because its such a pain.
  • I only wear dresses now. I'm not really frustrated with my body, but I can commiserate with you about shaving. I had that issue before getting pregnant though so I've been shaving by feel for a while now.

  • Forget about the lady parts--I can barely bend enough to shave my legs! Every time I do it baby kicks like mad bc I'm obviously squishing him in there.

And I just noticed yesterday that some of my shirts are really short already, which is just fab bc I still have 12 weeks to go! I really really hope I dont have to buy more stuff!!
  • I will shave using the big mirror and the sink, sometimes I can get away with sitting in the shower. I am also in need of new maternity clothes already, and I so don't want to spend money with only 10 weeks left. UGH.

  • I noticed that my maternity jeans are starting to feel snug in the hips :-<

They also are snug in my calves/knees bc of the swelling, which is super annoying! I agree--I don't want to have to buy more clothes this late in the game!
  • Shaving? haha... I gave up on that a LONG time ago. To be honest shaving my lady parts has never been high on my list of things to do. So, I totally gave it up and I have no problem with that. I can still shave my legs no problem, so we are good.

  • I did just buy tees at Old Navy (not maternity) for $3.99 a piece. I bought them 2 sizes larger than normal and they fit great for now. I didn't mind spending the money because they were cheap and I know I can wear them after. I'm short enough that for now, they still cover my belly!

  • I've been lucky that I've been able to wear many of my work shirts and dresses until recently (pants not so much!!). But that's all changed, I had to go buy a new dress and some shirts to wear with my maternity work pants this week.  And I had to buy a new pair of dress sandals that are more comfortable/a half size bigger because of the foot swelling as well :-\   But that's all only been mildly annoying - the lady bits part is SUPER annoying to me, as well as the increased difficulty shaving my legs.  I've been thinking about getting a wax, but I've never had that before and that's all I need is to get some sort of weird allergic reaction on top of the pregnancy symptoms lol!

  • I shave blindly and have been for a few months.  Showering, in general, has become much more of a task.  I can also relate on the clothes not fitting.  I have two favorite maxi dresses that I can't wear anymore because I am suddenly sporting some major side boob in them.  Not cute.

  • I am feeling the clothing frustration... Last pregnancy I didn't have to keep buying clothes but I am already outgrowing my pants:-( I am dreading the thought of buying more with such a short time left

  • Yup, shaving sucks, but I just do the best that I can, a small mirror can offer some help.

As for clothing, ya a lot of my maternity shirts don't cover my belly anymore, it's super annoying, I thought I had bought them big enough.

  • Completely with you on the clothes issue! I used my boyfriend's beard trimmer to trim up down there the best I could and then I made him come and touch up what I missed. I already told him if we ever decide to have another baby it will be planned for the winter time so I don't have to worry about shaving my legs! Bending over is a full blown workout nowadays.
  • Shaving? It's more like a circus act right now. A blind one.
  • I've given up on shaving.  My crotch hurts so bad I can't even have sex lately anyway.  I haven't bought any maternity clothes yet and I really don't want to spend money on them.  I'd rather spend money once I lose the baby weight.  My husband says my clothes look like rags.  LOL Oh well.  I'm a SAHM to a 2 year old and he doesn't judge.  And with this heat/humidity lately I rarely go anywhere other than for a walk.  Blaahh. I'm totally frustrated.  Varicose veins, much bigger at this stage than I was with my first, and total exhaustion so I barely care. lol

This all sounds like me! But I haven't given up on shaving just yet, even though its pretty impossible.

Yeah, seriously. I think I shaved twice a week before pregnancy.  We're down to once a week now, and that's usually in anticipation of spending beach time every weekend.  I asked DH if he would shave my legs for me once I get too big, and he apparently didn't know that was something that could happen and was like, "noooo".
