I just went through care to find a nanny. Ultimately we ended up going with the daughter of a family friend, but I interviewed three candidates from care. You will have no shortage of applicants without doing anything, and no shortage of profiles to look through. I really liked all of the candidates and found the system to be easy to navigate. Good luck! I will definitely use it again.
We used it. We had a LOT of applicants, interviewed four. All four seemed like genuine, honest people and provided references. We also used their background check service. It's worth the thirty dollars or so.
I've used it twice. First for our nanny, who we really liked. Second for a more occasional babysitter and she was fine. We narrowed down our search via interviews and once we thought we had one we paid the $80 for the most extensive background check.
