GD snack ideas

I've been eating fruit and cheese, fruit and nuts, or cheese and crackers and that's all I can come up with. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm supposed to have 1 protein and 1 carb serving.

  • plain greek yogurt and berries. whole grain waffles (or brown rice rice cakes) and pb. one piece of whole grain bread and turkey.

  • peanut butter and whole wheat crackers
    graham crackers peanut butter and cool whip (think ice cream sandwich)
    popcorn and string cheese 
    chocolate covered almonds 
    trail mix
    greek yogurt with fruit

  • I eat a lot of yogurt. Unflavored (usually with strawberries) and flavored (I like the greek 100 ones). 

     Anniversary

  • Chobani Champions Kids Greek Yogurt (loved the chocolate chunk with vanilla)

    Popcorn + a protein

    Fiber One brownie + peanut butter

    Iced coffee + a protein

    Cheese or peanut butter + crackers

    Cottage cheese, cream cheese, taco seasoning "dip" + a handful of chips

    Protein shake (cake batter one from Pinterest was awesome)

    Salami slices + laughing cow cheese spread + crackers

  • I resort to individual bags of soy beans quite often and also clif builder bars if I am craving something sweet. They have 20g of protein.

  • Nature Valley peanut butter dark chocolate protein bars.  They only have 14g of carbs and 10g of protein.  They also satisfy my sweet tooth :)

  • I would also add mini-Luna bars or what I thought was Ensure, but it looks like it is called Glucerna.  These were my snacks "on the go"...

    I wonder if anyone else has tried hummus with veggies as a snack?  There seems to be a decent carb/protein ratio with hummus.
