Uncomfortable!!!!

I just need to vent. 17 days on HBR and I swear everything hurts! My hips, my knees, my back and a major headache. Spoke with the doc and she says unfortunately its what's going to happen with limited movement. I was secretly hoping she has a magic cure. Not to mention I eat 5 bites of anything and I'm full and tmi ::: constipation. Blah. I feel like crying!

    Oh goodness, I'm so sorry! Vent away! I only spent 3 days in the hospital. It definitely made everything hurt worse. They gave me a stool softener everyday. I also ordered two types of juice for breakfast to help. If I have to be admitted again, I will have someone bring me a pillow topper! Those beds are horrible. I slept on a row of their pillows and that still didn't help. I hope you get relief soon!

    Thanks ladies. I take colace. Twice a day. Not much relief. I will be asking for a change or more to help. I drink roughly 100oz of water a day. They have cups that I have to use to measure my intake.
    I just had my H buy me the snoogle. That has helped but I think your right that I need more! Either that or I'm breakin out of this joint!

    I wonder if they'll let you take metamucil? You can do that 1-3 times a day. I'd die without it. die.

    You're not alone with the stiff painful body.  It's terrible and I get to be in my own bed at least. Pillow topper is a great idea! Hospital beds suck!
