end of pumping/BFing

So Monday I decided I was done pumping and I was going to start using my stash up. I waas pretty engorged all week and then yesterday it just went away. I got my first pp period and the milk is all gone. I. Was intending on still BFing AM and PM but I guess my body is done. I didn't realize just how sad that would make me.

Congrats on making it this far! Today is my last day pumping at work. I am really sad about stopping. In the beginning I could not wait for this day to come but now I am emotional. I am terrified of the hormone changes so I am going to try to nurse AM and PM still.

Man! This makes me nervous. I am planning on going to only AM/PM nursing sessions when I go back to work next month...I'm a teacher and I do not wanna bring my pump back to school with me....I hope my body cooperates. I think I would be sad to be completely done, too.

I am weaning too. Right now I'm just nursing morning and night, but it seems like my supply is very low. I want my period to return since I have no sex drive and I want that to get back to normal. I'm also ready for #2, so come on AF, get here already.

I am sad to be weaning, but I'm so happy not to have to pump at work anymore. What a PITA! Though it was nice to take a nice long break a few times a day.

Ironically I'm engorged and leaky all day at work now. I just nurse when I'm at home and quit pumping at work. I was never like this w Caleb. Weird.

How terrible is the first pp period after this long? I'm pretty terrified about that.

I was super terrified but its actually really light. I'm just very very ridiculously emotional, but I think not BFing and him just turning one is adding to the emotional roller coaster!

Thanks ladies! Deciding not to pump anymore was a hard decision and I thought id still be able to nurse some, some I'm tore up over it. Reading everything is making me feel better, I appreciate it!!

I have been very slowly weaning. I plan on nursing morning and night for a while. It makes me sad to end that relationship but at the same time, I look forward to the freedom it will bring.
