Happy Friday ladies! Sorry I haven't been around much - between M being sick on/off for the past 2 wks, plus the changes here. Anyway, I hope you all had a better week than I did.

Welcome and congrats to the recent new mamas here!

GL to those TTCing, or awaiting b/w & other results. T&Ps to those who need them.

And an early Happy FIRST birthday to TJ's E! How did THAT happen so quickly? You are an amazing mama - you've been through so much in this past year and yet you always have such a positive attitude! You are truly an inspiration to me. Please post pics of the cake(s) you'll be making for E's party.

Okay, so what are you ladies and your LOs up to this weekend? Hope you all have a wonderful time doing whatever you are doing (or NOT doing)!

ETA: Sorry I forgot to mention Grayson's FIRST birthday as well! Happy b'day to Grayson. mdiblasi, make sure you do AW the b'day party pics!!!

My mom took the trio to her house for the night (3.5hrs north of us) and then we're meeting her at a family reunion tomorrow. Two of the older relatives (twin sisters that I've never met) send cards when the boys were born and both mentioned seeing us this year, so out of obligation and guilt we'll be going to the reunion. I only remember going once in my life and don't know any of this side of the family other than my mom's brother and sister, so this should be interesting (aka "awkward").

We plan to meet up with friends on Sunday to watch a parade during the annual town festival. Might take DS1 to the carnival afterward, depending on whether or not babies are cooperating.

Happy Friday to everyone! Ahhh, my favorite day

Tomorrow is Grayson's first birthday party. I am really looking forward to it. I will probably AW some of the photos next week. Sunday is a day to relax and recover from the party.

We are going to a friends little girls birthday party tomorrow. Sunday will be a relax day. Not a very exciting weekend. Which is okay cuz we're going camping next week.

I have my future SIL's bachelorette party in NYC tomorrow night. I'm not looking forward to my first night away from DS, especially not since I just found out I have strep throat I feel like crap.

Sunday I'll be back home and with my boys. And I even have off on Monday!

UGH. Feel better. Strep is the worst - you're a true trooper for still going to the bach-ette.

We are headed to Maine tomorrow morning.

I'm not thrilled about this. My family is already up there for my moms 65th. I graciously opted out of this since its a lot with LO and I just went back to work - and then my mom guilt tripped me (I posted about this many times). So we will go up tomorrow to stay in a seperate hotel. I am kind of looking forward to a night away though - just hope it goes smoothly with LO and there is no family drama!

Happy Birthday to E and Grayson!!

DH took today off because there's no work so we're having a rare weekday family day. Tomorrow is probably a lot of lounging around, not sure yet though. Sunday a friend of mine is coming with us to set up my new classroom, an all day affair I'm sure!

Nothing crazy going on here. Packing and Hvac inspection for the people buying our place but taking it easy other then that. Had to take Ds to the doc yesterday for a nasty nasty cough. Turned out it was croupe so he had to get steroid shots. Never knew they could get croupe from adults having colds.

Happy Bday E and Grayson!

S has a lot of congestion right now. Breaks my heart. We're taking her to the doctor this afternoon. Then tomorrow we'll either be doing garden work or who knows. DH is in a band and they have a show tomorrow night so if S is feeling better I'll take her to my parents and then go to the party. Sunday DH is playing golf so S and I will probably just snuggle at home!

I'm trying to take it easy this weekend because I have a business trip Monday and Tuesday. I can't wait to see what 5 hours in the car is like at 6 months pregnant. I hope my coworker doesn't mind frequent bathroom/snack breaks.

Anyway. This weekend I am getting a pedi, and spending some time w friends and hopefully getting the house in some kind of order before leaving Monday morning.

Feel better soon! I have strep now also and as bad as I felt when I found out there is no way I would still be going to a bachelorette party. I agree, you are a trooper!

We are leaving town this weekend to go to the OBX. I am super excited to be going on vacay again, but a bit nervous because I think Tropical Storm Dor.ian is going to bring us rain the entire week we're there.

Not much going on here. My parents anniversary is today so they are coming over for dinner Sunday night and my sister is coming in town for the night. I am off Monday because my daycare provider is closed so my sister and I are spending the day with DD.

Happy Birthday Grayson and E! Enjoy every minute of this weekend mdiblasi and TJ and soak it all in. They are moments to treasure:)

DH has a long conference/meeting day at work today (12hrs) plus 1/2 day tomorrow. I know this is nothing compared to you ladies whose DH has to travel for work, but having to be the sole caretaker for M for 14 hours at the end of the week is exhausting! As I said in the OP, M has been sick on/off for almost 2 weeks now, which means no play date, so it's hard to keep him entertained.

I ended up driving us all the way into downtown boston earlier today to the library - they have noontime concerts on Fridays. M stayed quiet for 20 minutes so we both enjoyed some classical music (harp and flute). Hoping he'll take a long afternoon nap so I can catch some rest myself.

Since DH has to go in to work tomorrow, I'll have to entertain M by myself in the morning. The only real plan we have is a cook-out at DH's boss's home Sunday afternoon. We are bringing potato salad so I'll have to make that Sunday morning. Am afraid how M will do - he's having MAJOR stranger anxiety these days and basically starts crying when someone gets close to him. It's tough being a baby!

Happy Birthday to little E and G!! Hope it is a great day for the whole fam and that year two goes by slower!!

We have our first Mommy and Me (+DH) class! We had to wait until they turned 10 mos, as I needed the Saturday class so DH could come and help with one of the boys. I'm so excited to do a "normal" activity. We've also got a bday party.

Hugs for the sick mamas and babies, and those going through rough times. Safe and happy trip to those traveling.
We took today off to run some errands and took E to the children's museum. It was so fun! Tomorrow I have a baby shower to go to, and hopefully Sunday we can rest some and get some bday party crafts taken care of.

Well after spending the last few days trying to figure out how to post & get my siggy back, I am ready for the weekend!!

My big plan is to enjoy having DH around to help I feel bad for my kiddo's, I have been pretty sick & am on modified bed rest so they haven't been getting out
