Vent: Can the pump be any louder?

Today is my first day back to work. Totally sad about not being with LO. But she is with her daddy so it's ok. I work for a city but in a small office. I'm using my bosses office. Which is next to all the cubes. I'm sitting here and can hear everyone's conversations so I know they can hear me.
It just sucks!
Haha ok that made me laugh.

I have the Medela bra I got at Target. It does a good enough job for me. And I have the ameda pump, too.

Twice I have been on the phone with a colleagu in the UK while pumping. Since my cell doesn't dial out international i have to answer when she calls. I feel like i need to tell her what I'm doing but i just hope instead she can't hear it.

I was trying on clothes at Target the other day and was like, what is that familiar sound??!! Someone was pumping in a dressing room and I swear I got a letdown listening to it! As for a hands-free pumping bra, I took an old sports bra, marked over my nipples with a sharpie, and cut holes just big enough to fit the flanges through. It works great and was free!

If I'm pumping while on the phone and someone asks what that noise is I just tell them that maintenance is working on something in the building. lol
