Anatomy scan yesterday! {pip}

I went into this appointment really nervous. I had two babies to worry about. I saw my MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) doc for the appointment so we got results as the ultrasound was going on. So relieving. The first thing we checked on was whether they were fraternal or identical. We are 99% percent sure they are fraternal since the placentas are not anywhere close to eachother. Since they are both Girls (doc said he'll pay for surgery if he's wrong (-: ) there is still that very slight chance that they are identical and split super early on in the process.

But we left the hour and a half appointment with wonderful news on the babies. The ultrasound machine at the MFM office is nothing like I've ever seen. The tech even pointed out how baby A has a long second toe...just like her daddy. Isn't that crazy. I could actually see the umbilical cord coming from the belly. With DD we really had no idea what we were looking at.

They also both weighed 8oz (actually only 1 gram different in weight). Baby A was one day larger then Baby B which is pretty spot on since we found out they were twins at 8 weeks.
