Help! Shrimp left in the car...

Pregnancy brain stuck hard core this morning...went to the seafood market, bought a pound of shrimp, them went to the grocery store. Came home, unloaded groceries and forgot the shrimp in the car for three hours (probably closer to 2hrs)! It was in ice and in the shade. When I found it, it still had quite a bit of ice in e bag...would you still use it? Am I nuts for even asking?

Me too probably. Especially if the shrimp itself still felt pretty cold which I am sure it did if there was still ice in the bag.

I think it's most important they were kept cool. Something like under 40 degrees keeps bacteria from growing. I'd cook them because they were still in ice water.

I'll put Philly on the list of places to move then. Of course, I can never ever fly in and out of the airport.
