So last night I was having a really hard time finding a comfortable position to sleep. Laying on left/right side, w/ w/o pillow btwn my knees, I had this pain right at the front of my hip joint. If I sat up "criss-cross applesauce", pain went away. It wasn't like a cramp, more like when I had growing pains as a kid, but still I'm a bit tweaked... 9weeks today, and don't even know when the 12-week u/s will be(first appointment is Tues 8/6 @ 10wks, with a CNM so there won't be an u/s)... that's a long time to wait and wonder...
Feel free to tell me that I'm cra-cra/overthinking, or that it's perfectly normal sounding pain to you...

When my chiro would work on my hips, it'd usually cramp afterwords, and the results never lasted long, b/c, hello, hormones. So I used one of the tricks he suggested, laying on my back, knees bent, feet spaced about 6 inches apart or so, & place a semi-squishy/semi-firm ball with some give, like a volleyball or kickball between your knees, & then SQUEEZE slowly but firmly. It almost always popped my hips back out into place, & it's cheaper than running to the chiro every week!
If this sounds familiar (the pain/issues), it's worth trying the ball.
@Kedra321 That sounds horribly painful - and (at least at this point) it doesn't sound like my hip pain (which has subsided as of this morning). I think I'll be working on some of the stretching and strengthening exercises I saw on WhattoExpect.com, just in case!
