Does anyone send their kids to a Montessori school? What can you tell me about them? I'm wondering if it may be an option for DS when he is a little older (the local school is for kids ages 3-12). TIA!!
our daycare/preschool is Montessori based and I absolutely love it. DD1 has been there since she was 12 weeks and absolutely thrives there. I love that she's learning from and teaching her friends.
I will throw out what I witnessed yesterday afternoon. DS has been in his new DC, a Montessori, for less than two weeks.
I arrived. He saw me at the door. He completed his activity (placing different shaped rods into a wooden holder), stood up and picked up another toy beside him from the floor. He walked to the shelf and placed it in the basket where it belongs. Then he turned around, beamed at me and ran to me.

Amazing results!
