Mid cycle bleeding?

Hi ladies...I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I am 15 days into my cycle, waiting to ovulate (I have longer cycles 40~45 days) I am temping checking CM and using digital OPKs. I have not gotten as positive OPK yet. For a few days now I have had some light spotting but today it is a little more...not heavy at all but I have to wear a panty liner and it is bright red. Anyone experienced this mid cycle before?

Worth noting--- I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks at the end of May. My first period post miscarriage arrive July 10 and was very heavy and 8 days long.

Was really hoping that this would be our month for a sticky baby...thoughts???

    I occasionally get spotting around the time of ovulation, especially a couple years ago when I was just starting out with TTC.  My OB said it was normal and a sign of high fertility.  My miscarriage was much earlier than yours, but my cycle returned pretty normally right away.  Very sorry for your loss, and hopefully someone else can chime in on if the miscarriage could be affecting anything.

    I always spot mid cycle, did so even when I was on BCP for four years. My doctor has never thought of it as a problem, spotting often just happens.

    I'm sorry about your loss. :(

    I started having mid cycle bleeding in November and get it every single cycle just a few days before ovulation. I also had a MC in April and thought that the spotting before ovulation would go away but it didn't. I still get it. However, I kind of like that it's somewhat of a warning that O is coming.
