Sleeping arrangements

I will be 29 weeks with twin girls tomorrow and I am trying to figure out what would be best long term to buy. I would like to have the babies either in separate bassinets or a cosleeper together beside my bed for the 1st few months. But my dilemma is what is best? I dont have the room for a full pack n play in my room beside my bed. I plan on moving them into their cribs in their nursery after the first few months. I also have rock n plays that were a shower gift that ill keep them in while in the living room during the day I guess. What worked for you? I just hate to buy something and I dont know what will work.

Can they just sleep in your room in the Rock n Plays? I don't have twin experience yet but my DD slept in her RnP for 4 months after birth and it was great. It would keep you from having to buy something else.

Mine aren't born yet, but I'm planning on them sleeping in their RNPs next to my be at night. I don't have space in my room for a PnP or the like.

Mine slept in the RnPs for the first 4+ months. They actually preferred the RnPs to sharing the Arm's Reach co-sleeper.

Ours slept in RnPs on each side of the bed to eightish weeks and then stayed in two separate PnPs until we moved them to their room at 4-5 mos. DH was the one who really wanted them out of the RnPs at night since they would get so slouchy in there. I still used them for daytime naps for several more months and just moved them to the living room during the day. Our boys never slept well together, so they were apart from day one at home.

My two sleep in RNPs in their room, which is about 10 feet for our room. Our house is not large.

We use bouncers in the living room during the day.

Thank you all for the replies! So maybe I already have the solution. I just didn't know if rnps were good for them to constantly sleep in but looks like they worked good for yall so im gonna try it.

I had R&Ps, co-sleepers, and pack n plays. They ended up sleeping in the co-sleepers for only 2 weeks and then I moved them into their cribs at night. We all ended up sleeping better that way!

Our girls have slept in their RnPs since we came home from the hospital. I actually wish we had co sleepers b/c they seem too small for the RnPs and sleep best on us which makes me nervous and then not sleep well. I think if they were flat rather than a little curled up/hunched over in the RnPs, they'd be more comfortable. My girls are both just under 5lbs right now.
