Daycare Recs in Westerville

Does anyone have any daycare recommendations in the Westerville area? We're starting to look around (which feels very early at 10 weeks, but people say everywhere has long waiting lists) and would appreciate any recommendations. I'm a teacher, so what I really need is some place that will give me felxibillity in the summers.

Thanks in advance!

  • I live in Westerville too, when my kids were going to daycare we had them at the Gathering Place which is inside of the Church at Polaris. I was always really happy with our choice having used Enchanted Care prior to that. It's the church that is across the street from the Rave Movie Theater, behind the mall.

  • Most daycares do have a waiting list of at least a year. Have you looked into having a nanny? There are some great agencies in Columbus that do all of the hiring work for you. We had a great experience with East Wind Nannies and loved that they have several reputable branches. Best of luck to you!
  • I toured a few in Westerville and really really loved Nikou Learning center up at Maxtown and the 2nd choice was YMCA educare, which is located inside St. Ann's hospital.  I ended up getting a referral to an inhome care provider and went with her since it is much more inexpensive, but I would love to send my kid to Nikou down the road!
