TY note question

okay, so i'm about to start on TY notes for the boys' birthday gifts. do i write them from my perspective and sign them with my name, or write them from theirs and sign their names? i know, this is stupid. it's not like i'm going to write them in fake kid lettering with backwards Ss or anything.

hmm.

Re: TY note question

  • I'd write them from my perspective because I think it'd be easier and they'll go faster!

  • I would write them from your perspective and then sign your name and the boys name.

  • I wrote them from Paige's perspective.  Like "Dear Grandpa, Thank you for my birthday money.  Mommy and Daddy are putting it in my college fund.  I enjoyed seeing you at my party.  Love, Paige"  But with three of them it might be more difficult to do that!

  • I wrote them from DD but I must say, she was extremely eloquent for a 1YO.

  • I always did them as though they were from my kids.

    Dear _________;

     Thanks for coming to our party and helping us celebrate our first birthday!  And thanks for the neat blocks.  We have been playing with them a lot.

  • I wrote them from DD's perspective. I've been told that she has very neat penmanship! lol.

    For her christening gifts, I signed the thank you cards from me, DH, and DD.
