I keep getting higher numbers now! It's getting a little frustrating. My last two weeks were great and now it's a completely different story. Any advice?

Re: GD- higher numbers around 30 weeks

  • I wasn’t Dxed until 30 weeks so I don’t know if I had lower numbers beforehand but if I really try I can stick between 65-85 for all my meals. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Sometimes you might have to rework your whole food plan. Remove carbs first and see what that does.

Try taking a 10 min. walk after your meal. That will always reduce my numbers.

Drink more water. If I don’t drink water between my meal and my test I will always be 95+

  • I'm 30 weeks with GD as well. I haven't experienced a spike yet, however I was told that as you progress through the pregnancy, you may spike due to increased and changing hormones.
