hostess gifts?

Are you ladies going to give your hostess thank you gifts? My sister in law did it and I thought it was very nice so I'd like to do something as well...but what do I do? *Also, I live in Texas and am flying home for this shower so I don't think wine would work out well or a lot of food options.  Any ideas?

    I usually go for a bottle of wine but the gift cards or gift sets sound like a great idea and might be easier for you since you're flying home! :)

    I'm flying for a shower this weekend too.  I'm getting my hostesses, a cute umbrella (you can never have too many umbrellas) with a cheesey note about about rain showers and the baby shower.  Plus, a ribbon tied around each umbrella a gift card to a place each of them like - MAC, Macy's, Barnes and Noble - I'll customize for each hostess. 

    (I got the umbrella idea from another poster on this board a few months ago.)
