Wallace, I'm glad things have slowed down!

I slept well considering the circumstances, but I woke up a couple of times with very strong contractions.

QOTD: I hate the crest complete commercials. I don't know why those people drive me nuts, haha.

Hi there. First night of hospital bedrest. I was admitted yesterday after my weekly check up (24wk 1day) showed more funneling and a shortened cervix. When they hooked me up, the monitors showed that I was having contractions too and I had no idea. They started me on Procardia and an IV of fluids. Both helped calm things down. I am still having the rare contraction. I also had an internal exam where my OB said the cervix is still high and not dilated. I am supposed to have a FFN test today.

Slept ok. They gave me Ambian which I had never tried previously and it helped. However, they are remodeling the hospital and some drilling started at 7 am in the floor above us. My nurse was annoyed by it and said she would speak to someone. The racket stopped, so maybe she got through to someone.

QOTD: l guess it is a hazard of daytime tv, but I don't like all the DWI and personal injury lawyer commercials.

Morning.
Well I woke up at 2 am to pee, and had some more bleeding and passed more of the clot. The nurse called the docs, and they said since it was mostly clotting they weren't too concerned, only if there was a lot of bright red blood would they get really worried. It took me a while to get back to sleep. Then I got woken up at 6, and a few times after that. I'm hoping to get moved to a private room today so I can have a shower in my room, but I think I'm going to have to use the one in the hall before that. I haven't showered now since Mon at home, eww, lol.
QOTD: I get annoyed by all the lawyer commercials

Wallace, I'm glad the meds seem to be working for now. Still praying for you all!
Stacey: I hope your contractions have stopped now!

Can I jump in here? I haven't really intro'd but am high-risk. On modified bed rest with the chance to go strict at any time due to IC (I have a cerclage). Should I intro? The night was pretty gnarly. I'm still up multiple times to pee and now have the added bonus of a summer cold. Yippee! No news today. I'm finally not feeling the cerclage but I think that is only because I'm staying off of my feet. All bleeding finally stopped but the discharge is just wonderful. We don't have cable, we use Hulu and Netflix, so I'm not sure about annoying commercials.

i literally slept all day yesterday - like for 12 hours. I got up for dinner and then went back to bed. Then sat up in bed to watch TV with DH. Then I slept all freaking night. What the heck body?!

It's NST day, so I get to leave the house, yippee!

QOTD: I don't know what commercials I can't stand, but this one makes me cry EVERY.TIME.

Slept ok-- was up to go to the bathroom every hour to hour and a half. Could not get back to sleep from2-3.

QOTD: I originally thought this commercial was clever, but have seen it too many times-- the jersey shore's "we're stronger than the storm"

e-74: sorry you had a rough night sleeping. I'm glad you mentioned those jersey shore commercials, those are the other ones I've seen way to many times!

On another note, I just realized that the new bump format messed up my anniversary ticker, and it wont fix it no matter how many times I have tried to resave it. We will be married for 3 years in 10 months, not 2. Oh well, I guess just something else to get used to with this new format.

Wallace I am praying for your partner.. I hope those meds keep those contractions steady.. I am sure you must have said it but how far is CHOP from you guys? So glad they will take both babies instead of separating them. Stacey did you call dr when you started to contract? When is next appt? 10-4lilbuddy have they offered steroid shots for little one yet? Angel child construction workers have tough jobs when working on sites that silence is appreciated. Poor guys always get yelled at lol... Hope they transfer you soon. The nice warm shower is waiting your arrival :-) I actually slept a little. I didn't take my typical afternoon nap because we had some friends over so by 12 I was already snoring :-) was up by 4:30 am tho. I am still working on it. My friends last night was telling me if I continue to break night little one will get use to those sleeping patterns and won't let me sleep at night :-/ Today I have a cervical ck which of course always curious to see measurement. Other wise my morning has been ok. I was suppose to do 1hr glucose yesterday but lost the ref so just going tomorrow or Monday. I've been moving around alot this week so more then likely I will rest and have It done Monday. QOTD I don't like those commercials that show the animals all bruised and skinny or even the new stop smoking cigarette, they have became very graphic.. I do like the cute I think it's sprint commercial with the guy asking the 4little kids questions

Not that you want to be here, but Welcome! I live on Netflix most of the day because I can't stand commercials.

Welcome if you like you can do a little intro just so we know a little about you and little one. Sorry your cervix is acting up. Seems like its the new trend these days :-/

Kneenah, no I didn't call. It was just one big painful one that would wake me up. Then, I'd go back to sleep. It would happen again like an hour or two later.

Not that any of them are better than others, but I hate those ones. I'm all, "I finally fell asleep body, and now we're going to have contractions? awesome. we're in a fight."

Oh yea. I hate the SPCA and abused animals ads. I'm already super emotional and cry at anything.

I did two steroid shots last week at 23 wks. They said they will do one more round before delivery and will just keep monitoring me to figure out when to use it. I'm scared to go home since I apparently cannot feel contractions. At the same time, it is still a long way to delivery.

Ilovetolaugh - jealous of that much sleep! It sounds like you really needed it.
Angelchild - I asked earlier if I'm allowed to shower. It's amazing how the little things make a difference. Hope you get moved soon.

Hi all! I was able to come home yesterday afternoon thank goodness. I am supposed to come back if I starrt having 6 or more contractions an hr. Ob seemed confident since the ffn test was negative I wld be ok to come home on sbr. I go back to mfm monday for a cervix check. It was so nice to be in my own bed last night but everytime my bladder got full id have bad contractions. Today so far ive had some but nothing compared to the 1st day in the hospital. I hope you are all doing well and im so sorry for any of you still stuck on hbr I only had 3 days of it and that was enough.

I woke up so many times to go to the bathroom, and I was having crazy dreams. Not the most restful night.
I was dealing with a stomach virus yesterday. No fun at all! I feel a lot better today though.
My dr told me at 36 weeks she will take me off bed rest. So only 3 more weeks! DH says he still doesn't want me to do anything. I think I will still chill out most of the time, but I' not going to be so strict on myself.

I watch Netflix so I don't see too many commercials that annoy me. I really don't like the Progressive commercials with Flo in them. IDK why I just don't like her.

Good morning. Looks like I'll be released from the hospital today, going home on Modified bed rest. No more full time work...only working from home here on out, which will be odd for me.

I'm noticing more irritable uterus feelings when I have to pee too, so trying to keep my bladder emptied, but while staying hydrated. Hard! That meant I was up a few times last night....

QOTD - I hate the progressive commercial with Flo where the guy says "Lets get ready to rumblllleeeeeee" and it just goes on and on forever.

I actually managed to sleep really well last night, and I've not napped today. Maybe I can get back into the rhythm of night time sleeping. Hopefully I won't be up until all hours, which is more likely! No updates today other than my BP is still too high and it doesn't look like the new meds are doing much. QOTD: I hate the "Let's get ready to bundle" Progressive commercial. It drives me nuts!

Hi, everyone! Congratulations to those leaving the hospital.

Thoughts and prayers to those having the contractions and still stuck in the hospital.

Wallace, still thinking and praying for you guys!

Had my Dr. Appt. today. Cerclage still holding and cervix is maintaining at 1.3 cm. Amniotic fluid was looking good at 16. Overall a good appt.

I dislike the "Honey Boo Boo" scratch and sniff commercials. Really tired so heading to bed soon. Night, everyone!
