Mucous in Diaper

When I was changing my LO's diaper this morning it had clear mucous in it- no blood. It sounded like he had a bowel movement right before I changed him, but it was just a clear mucous. This has never happened before. My LO is 12 weeks old. My clinic doesn't open until another half an hour. Has this happened to any other mom?

    DD3 has been having green mucousy stools for the last couple weeks. Her older sister passed her cold along, so she's been stuffed up. I think the mucous is just from her swallowing mucous when she's been coughing, and apparently the green can indicate a virus.

    I have been dealing with mucous poop practically since ds has been born! I am doing a complete dairy and soy elimination (he's bf) and seeing if that helps. It can be really frustrating. Good luck!

    Mine had green mucousy stool last week, and he also had a virus. The dr pointed out his swollen lymph nodes on his neck to me. He is better now!
