I'm 32 and this is my first! I know that biologically our bodies want us to have babies in our early 20's but boy would I have NOT been ready then. I wish I started at 30 because we want 2 or 3 but nonetheless I feel prepared now and can't wait. Glad to be a part of the over 30 crowd!

I'm 31 and this is our second pregnancy but hopefully, first take home baby! I had a missed m/c last year right after Thanksgiving. I'm now 12 weeks and 3 days in.
I will say that as much as I feel more mentally, emotionally and financially prepared in my 30s, I think physically I might have had more energy in my 20s. Haha.
Half our friends had or are having their kids in their 20s (DH is younger than I). The other half have been in their 30s and 40s.
I'm 33 and I'm pregnant with my first (4 weeks, 4 days today); when I give birth, I'll be 34.
I was worried about my age when my husband and I discussed TTC. We were only married 5 weeks when we decided to try. Originally, we'd wanted to try after 6 months, but decided sooner since I'd read it could take a while...we got pregnant the first try. I'm still in shock but very grateful. We want 2 kids, so it looks like if all goes well with this one, we'll probably try for Irish twins!
I'm 32 but will be 33 by the time our due date comes around. I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and so far so good like Netty above we were shocked we got it on the first try ( or maybe the 2nd) ! I think I'm still in shock but so happy and thankful!
Hi Mandy, I am 32 and also had problems conceiving. Tried for 15months with no luck and was booked in for ultrasound and dye test at the end of Aug but last weekend I decided to randomly take a test two days before my period and nearly fell off the toilet when two glorious lines appeared! This was probably the month I had the least 'symptoms' in all the time I had been trying. I'm so delighted to be pregnant but a little anxious at the same time. Want to fast forward to week 12! I was actually so nervous this week that I booked hcg bloods two days ago (which came back at 543), I'm not sure why I did it as it cost me £45 and I don't believe they mean anything without a second test. Now debating whether I should go for a 2nd test or just ride out my time and let Mother Nature take over. Sorry this had become a rambling message, yes I would love to be your buddy! Lol! I actually didn't consider myself old until I came on this app, lol!
It has been wonderful hearing of all you strong women that are having your first babies in your 30s. I however, am headed back to the TTC after MC It didn't work out this time but I am still hopeful. My fertility specialist got me right back in so I can try this month rather than waiting which I was happy about. I figured they would say that I conceived on my own so I should wait and keep trying but they didn't. Maybe next month will bring better luck. Good Luck to you all! Best wishes for beautiful babies!
I'm so sorry to hear that Mandy, I wish you all the luck in the world, I've read you can be exceptionally fertile following a MC. It is so early for us all, I hope to see you back next month x
