Ethan Daniel is here!!!

I was scheduled for an induction on Monday the 22 due to GD. Ethan decided he was coming Sunday instead. I started having contractions around 11:30 am and they were sporadic all day. DH was at work so thank goodness my parents were over visiting. I live 40 minutes from the hospital. My mom finally decided they were taking me at 6 pm. Called DH and he left work to meet at the hospital. I got to the hospital around 7 and was in so much pain. They took me into triage and i was 6cm. Less than 10 minutes later they wheeled me to a room and checked again, i was already at 8cm. Luckily the anesthesiologist came in and i got the epidural and was 9cm. It luckily kicked in enough. After 3 pushes I delivered at 8:02 pm. If my water had broken I wouldn't have made it to the hospital in time. Ethan is perfect and I kept my GD so in check, he was only 6 lbs 9 oz 19 1/2 inches and I'm wearing my pre pregnancy jeans today!!!
