We have the Fisher Price infant to toddler rocker - it doesn't really "bounce" but it vibrates and rocks and has a "kickstand" so it can be more horizontal, or more vertical. It also converts to a toddler chair, but who knows if we'll ever use it like that.
We have the Fisher Price rainforest bouncer. My son loves the moving monkey and tree frog and the lights from the waterfall that are on the activity bar. It also vibrates.
I love the fisher price monkey bouncer. DS loves looking at the toys and lights on the activity bar.
Love this one! We got a new bouncer at our shower with no lights and just had stuffed animals hanging on it. LO didn't seem to care for it. then a friend of ours gave us this bouncer and now LO could sit in it all day if we let him.
We have the snuggabunny bouncer and DS loves it ! It doesn't really have a toy bar though, so I guess it depends if you want to use it more for calming/bouncing or playing/entertaining. The snuggabunny is great for calming him and he takes awesome naps in it if I need him to be downstairs with me !
How long can they use the bouncer? I have a infant to toddler rocker that has hard plastic toys that he doesn't care for so we are always hanging other things on it. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to buy one that he would like but not sure it would be worth the investment. Any insight?
IMO babies stop liking the bouncer when they're big enough to sit on their own. DS1 loved his until around 6 months when he started confidently sitting. Every baby is different though !
Edit: supposed to quote the above post
This, and I found that once my babies were so heavy that they weighed down the bouncy seat so much that they were almost completely reclined, they stopped liking it as much. Luckily my first two were super skinny, so it lasted quite a while. DS3 is my little chunky monkey, so I'm curious to see how long he lasts in it.
We have the Fisher Price monkey bouncer too and my LO loves it! He loves looking at the lights and music. One of my girlfriends mentioned that her LO's feet kick the on off switch of the bouncer she has (not sure which one she has). The monkey bouncer has it where I don't think my LO will ever be able to kick it.
