Dd is 16 months and since she was born the dr mentions she has a "closed vagina" meaning the entrance to her vagina is closed. She has had two UTI s in the last 6 months which he said can is one of the things that happens with girls who have closed vaginas. He did say once they hit puberty and start producing estrogen that it will open up on its own but because she has had the uti's he prescribed her te estrogen cream to apply and within a Week or so it should open. This is new to me I've never heard of it before. Has anyone else dealt with this
Re: Closed vagina
I've heard that having your LO eat yogurt while taking an antibiotic helps fight against them getting a yeast infection. My SIL has to little girls that alway would get yeast infections on antibiotics and that worked for her.
