Took a lovely nap in my bed with Benjamin this morning and woke up to a thud and there he was on the wood floor. Doctor already checked him out and all is well. But my guilt will take more healing time. Ugh. No more naps in bed with mamma.

    Ohhhhh noooo!nbsp; I let Sean fall off the bed onto the hardwood last week.nbsp; i felt awful.nbsp; He got an egg, and then a bruise.nbsp; The egg was gone within 12 hours.nbsp; The bruise took 4 days.nbsp; Then, DD confessed that yesterday "sean fell off the bed when daddy wasnt watching him...."nbsp; So, thats 2x in 1 week!Welcome to the club.

    Not fun. But glad I'm not alone. Pedi even said his first fell off the bed when he was watching him too. I never thought I would sleep through him waking up!

    Happened to me last week!  I was awake and in the room AND was walking over to move her closer to the middle of the bed, but she fell before I could get there.  I literally watched it happened.  She got a cut in her mouth and bled for a little while, but was fine.  It's that mommy guilt that is the real killer.  Try to not beat yourself up.  I was crying on and off all day, but felt a little better the next day, then the next.  It will be a funny story when he's older. ;)
