First sorry about the back to back posts. I have been a worry wart the last few days.
We switched DD to a toddler bed last night and her first night was a complete success. She sat up twice but slept through the night like a champ. Tomorrow will be her first nap in her toddler bed she was at daycare today and I will not be home because I have to go see a specialist for my sever anemia. I guess that has me worried.
I like to view this as trouble shooting before anything else happens but I do hope I am worrying for no reason.
1. Would you let her wander around her room and just put her back into her bed if she leaves her room?
Or and this will be harder emotionally and physically but I think I know this is the right decision
2. Put her back into bed with out saying a word every single time she get out of bed?
She is a champ at sleeping and I want to continue this trend but DH says to do the first choice. At the same time I did a method very similar to the second choice to get her to sleep so well originally. Like I said I think I know what the right choice is I just need some reassuring/ outside advice. I have been a mess lately lol.
TIA.
You will never know how much you mean to me my little jelly Bean.

I would do option one. Glad the second night went better.
I am dreading the change over to a toddler bed.
She hasn't batted an eyelash at the change.
-That first night she sat up when I left the room and one other time and slept through the night. When she woke up she was just starting to knock on the bedroom door.
-The second night she didn't sit up but did cry out at first and was having trouble getting to sleep, she got out of her bed for a second causing her bedding to fall off when she stood up. She climbed immediately back into bed, pulled her blankets up one by one and went to sleep. When she woke up she waited for me and I helped her climb out of bed (she can do this by herself of course)
-The third night went great and she called for me when she woke up and asked me to pick her up from her bed.
-This is the fourth night and it is a little warm in her room so she is trying to get comfy since some dummy (me) put silk pants on her not realizing it was warm in her room but besides that she was talking to her self some while she laid down and appears to have fallen asleep.
-Naps have been good too but she has been at daycare for some and DH was watching her because I was at a doctor appointment the other day.
I am a very proud mama. I hope everyone's transitions go as smooth as ours.
