I've been lurking around here for a little bit and thought I might introduce myself and say hello. I've been married for almost 3 years. We have a sweet little dog and an amazing 6 week old son, William. I think some of my parenting style falls into the AP category. I babywear, breastfeed on demand, and respond very quickly when LO is upset. We don't co-sleep (he's in our room in a PnP for now though) at night, but LO and I tend to take naps together during the day.
I've kind of surprised myself with the way my parenting has evolved, but couldn't be happier! I don't think every part of AP is necessarily for me, but I hope I can still hang out here and learn a little from you ladies. AP (well...parenting in general, really!) is a new concept to me.

Welcome and congratulations on your wee boy. I LOVE the name William.
I don't think any two families practices AP in the same way, and really what makes you AP is responding to your child's needs, the tools you use to do that are kind of irrelevant (in my opinion)
The ladies here are really supportive, and have heaps of ideas.
