That's how we did it. Called a urologist office directly and scheduled appt.
However, this depends on your insurance- some require referral for specialist appointments (which this is). If yours requires that, you need to go through your GP first.

I would, but I don't have any idea when it would fit in to his work day. They are taking on a big, new customer and have had tons of meetings lately.
He'll actually need 2 appts, too. You get a consult first, and then the actual V. But the consult wasn't very long for us. Paperwork, meet with urologist, he explained it all, you can ask questions, etc. Maybe 30 minutes?
My husband just had his a week and a half ago. We had the consult on Mon. and the procedure on Thurs. He's recovering well. Our insurance co. had our primary dr. do a referral and after that it was covered . Good luck!
