When did you find out the sex?

I am 16 weeks and I have an appointment on Wednesday. I am hoping that I may be able to find out the sex of the baby. When were you able to find out? Did you have to do the 3-D ultrasound, or did the regular one show the sex just as well? I just relocated to France, so this will be a new doctor for me and I hope that I can just get onto the schedule that I was on with my last doctor. Can't wait to find out

I just went for my 16 week us and the doctor was not able to see the sex. We waited for a good while. She thinks it might be a girl bc she didnt see anything but she said to wait for next one o be sure. Doc said that sometimes it is very obvious at 16 weeks though. Good luck!

I am going to find out in two weeks when I go to a specialist. I am hoping they can see everything clearly. Good luck to you future mommies.

I found out at 14w5days! I went in for my first trimester screening and found out baby was further along. The tech said she thought it was a girl from a hidef regular ultrasound. I got the jack and Jill blood test two days later and found out she was right! It's a girl!!!

I took the Walgreen's pee test when i was 10weeks and it was a boy. I just had a 4d ultrasound at 15weeks and the tech took the best pic, and for sure it is a baby boy. They gave me a coupon to go back in 2week and im excited to see my baby boy. So if you are a new mommy I recommend take the pee test its fun and then its exiceted when u find out when you have an ultrasound to conconfirmed it.

I am 16 weeks an I had NO idea you could take a urine test for gender lol how cool is that! I go in for gender scan in 2 weeks, it would be interesting to see what the home test determined vs my ultrasound! Thanks for sharing that info :

We found out at 14 weeks 4 days! I scheduled it on my birthday, I thought it would be a cool birthday gift, and let me tell you it was!!! We found out we are having a girl! It really depends on how good your tech is, and also if your baby is willing to cooperate. My tech made me empty my bladder twice and even had me turn on my side to get the baby to move to the correct position.

I had an elective us at 6w1d. It was just a regular us. However it looked a little different than the obs. The internal organs were a little more obvious than the profile. Maybe it is just a different setting. It's a girl for me. Yay. Good luck.

I found out on standard U/S at 12 weeks we were having a little boy! I think it's easier to spot a little boy's private parts early vs a little girl's.

Lucky you guys! My doctor is making me wait until 21 weeks to see the gender. I'm 16 weeks now and the anticipation is killing me! I'll have to try one of those pee tests first and then see if they confirm it.

I found out with my first one at 15 weeks 3 days and this one at exactly 16 weeks. Both of them loved to show what they had it was no fueasing game for me

My doctor is making me wait til week 20 also!!! I am week 16 now, so 4 more weeks... I can't wait to find out! Also looking forward to feeling baby move in the next few weeks!
