I'm sure this question has been answered a thousand times already, so I'm sorry to beat a dead horse. We are considering taking a short vacation next month but have never stayed in a hotel with my 18 month old. How do you put baby down for bed (at an early hour) and not disturb her but still do SOMETHING before it is your bedtime?
Re: Staying in Hotels
It's tough for us with 2. Honestly, we don't get much time at night to ourselves because once everyone is actually asleep, DH and I are too tired to do much.
I agree w/hanging out on the balcony. Otherwise we drink in bed
Suites are nice if you can get them.

We usually brush our teeth and get ready for bed before we put her down and are just quiet when we use the bathroom. We have a light sleeper though.
