40th B-day gift for DH

DH has to much stuff already so I do not know what to do for his 40th. We are having friends over for a special dinner but other than that, I can't really think of anything. I'm also 3.5 weeks pp so I'm still exhausted from waking at night with a newborn.

It used to be steak and a BJ- talk about inflation! I agree re: Ipad though if he doesn't have one, or a smartphone or whatever- something he wouldn't splurge on himself. For my DH I got him an authentic football jersey from his college team and a cashmere sweater with his college logo. He'd never buy for himself/I would never let him buy unilterally= perfect bday present.

Some Ben Gay and ibuprofen. I just turned 40 last week and suddenly everything hurts! Is there some kind of accessory for something he has that you can buy? Or upgrade something?

What about paying for some kind of activity for him? When my DH turns 40 next year, he wants to go skydiving! If your DH isn't too adventurous, there could be something tamer he might like!

DH likes (?) doing repairs and such himself so at the 2nd hand kid stuff store, picked up a soft toy tool box set for him & LO to play with later on. Will put it as being from LO.
