Got our Verifi results today. Everything is completely normal. We are so happy! Just had to share! Second trimester starts tomorrow. Woo hoo!

    Verifi is a proprietary name of a blood test that allows the mom DNA and the placenta DNA to be examined. It's an alternative to amino that is 90 to 99 percent correct in detecting downs and trisomy 18 and others. I think I described that correctly! If you choose to meet with a genetic counselor they will go through it. I believe the Harmony is a very similar test, just a different name.

    Thank you! I am so nervous about all the tests!! I just hope that I have a healthy baby growing inside!!! I didn't do these test with my first two...just ultra sounds to check for complications.
