Painful Sex?

I am 30 weeks pregnant with my first and sex has become very painful. The husband and I are still intimate in other ways, but it isn't the same. The other night is was a sort of burning that turned into a sharper pain. Even though I cannot help it I feel like I'm letting him down in a way even though he would never say so. I've talked to many women and cannot find another one that has had this problem which makes me feel even worse! All of my vaginal screenings have been clear. I have another appointment in three days, but wanted to see what other moms had to say.

    It's been painful for me most of the pregnancy from the extra blood flow making it more swollen. And anticipating the pain makes me tense up and makes it worse. We really had to break out the lube and use a lot to make sure that I am comfortable. Also certain positions are more uncomfortable than others so we get me in one that is the most relaxing.
