I was up until about 4:30 with random, new feeling contractions. I suppose I should probably have called the OB, but they ended up subsiding after a ton of water and procardia.
I'm feeling a little "off" today. Not exactly sure what that means aside from my ute feels funny. I'm eating breakfast, drinking water, and headed back to bed for a while.
QOTD: Matthew 6:34 - "...do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." I try to keep this in mind, always. I have always had anxiety issues, so this has always been one of my favorites.
Shew, rough night over here. Hoping for a nap before our MFM appointment.
QOTD: I have many but some of my all time favorites
We've all got our own brand of problems. You can be powerful Or pitiful, but you can't be both. Joyce Meyer
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and not onto your own understanding. In all way acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:56
I love both of those! Joyce is seriously just too stinking smart. Love her!
I slept ok, maybe from 113:45. I was then up watching tv for an hour or so before falling asleep again. I just got woken up by the resident here at the hospital.
QOTD: I couldn't think of a favorite quote, but this is one of my favorite pieces of writing. I had a poster of it on my wall in high school and used to have it memorized:
Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be critical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.

Just got home from LD. Went in because of back pain, headache and dizziness. I spent about an hr and a half there. Got a pelvic and ultrasound. Cervix is closed and no change still 2.8
I didn't sleep at all because of back pain so I am basically running on no sleep. Just bought some breakfast, will take a tyneol wait for my nurse to give me my 17p then zzzzzzz
I was rasied in church but sadly I don't know any verses memorized
Doesn't sound like a great night for much of us!
I was up at 430 for vitals check and the nurse was so rude and loud that I sprung up bc I thought I had done something wrong. So then I was up til 730 then up at 830 for vitals than 930 for meds and just gave up and got up at 10am. Having my weekly NST today.
I was told by one of the physicians this is a practice of medicine not a perfection. I see his point. Just reminds me they are doing everything they can and will find the right way!
Sending good vibes and prayers to everyone. Keep cookin babies!!
I'm feeling much better, only one contraction so far and 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep along with some sporadic sleep here and there.
Quote: I can only please one person a day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow is not looking good either.
Bible verse: Corinthians 13:4-7 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Popular one, I know but I just have always loved this one. Happy day, everyone!
Just an okay night here. I had a headache all day yesterday and even though I was able to fall asleep for a few hours last night, I woke up at 2 with the headache pounding away. I think it's the procardia that's causing it and they're really giving me a lot of it. Tylenol isn't helping much at all. The doctors said they can probably reduce my dosage a bit so I hope that helps with the headache.
Other than that, spotting is nonexistent, contractions are not happening, and baby is looking good on the monitoring.
My favorite quote, from Eleanor Roosevelt: You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'
Really helped me through my loss and subsequent infertility treatments.

I had a good night's sleep. My son decided to wake up extra early at 6am though. My mom left today with plans to come back in 6 weeks (she lives in Phoenix and I'm in NoVA). We have a nanny starting tomorrow and I'm nervous about it. I really hate feeling so helpless.
I just got back from having a tooth extracted. No pain but I'm starving and still too numb to eat anything.
QOTD: Life takes you to unexpected places but love brings you home.
I'm learning that my best sleep hours are from 7am to 11am, and the entire night before then is just sleep for an hour or two with about 3 hours of awake time. I'm almost looking forward to when dd comes and ill sleep better.
Dd has been head down for the past month and over the past few days switched to breech. I'm curious if she will stay this way, as my first got stuck breech around 34 weeks due to my didelphic uterus. I guess it will make the VBAC vs c/s decision easier.

Well back in the hospital, I'll be here til the end now. I'm sure I'll be looking to you ladies who have been on HBR for encouragement, and advice on how to make it through!
I didn't go to sleep til after 1 this morning, then woke up just before 5 to pee, and I was bleeding again. The doctors said there is a 3 cm clot between the placenta and my cervix, which could come out all at once, or keep trickling out like it has been.
