Sleeping?

Whose baby is sleeping for the night right now? Mine is! And I'm about to jump in the shower and scrub at these rough and dry feet that have turned into monsters! Haha. What do you do for yourself once baby finally sleeps?

I refuse to jinx myself! But if my LO were in bed till 6 am, I would be about to make myself a cocktail and have a piece of chocolate bc work sucked today.

oh yeah, M has been getting up every few hours at night too. He's inconsistent. If he sleeps for four straight hours...that's a great start! He's been cluster feeding in the AM now: up at 4,5,6,7. Crazy baby!

I miss my baby so badly after a long weekend. And a snooty B sent me an ugly email about a stupid mistake I made. I realize that shouldn't bother me but it does. What about you?

The family members of an individual I support said that I obviously can't do my job and have a baby at the same time. (Said after two employees were asked to leave the workplace immediately for a safety concern and I didn't jump in my car to cover eighty hours of direct care work (I'm the supervisor to those employees). Fun times!

I bet she would've been nice if she'd pointed out the mistake to your face. Emails make idiots feel very brave

Mines not even close. My DS is almost 4 months and wakes up about 2 to 3 times to nurse. And if he's sleeping, I'm sleeping, cause I'm tiiiired.

Also, does it make me a horrible person that it makes me feel better to hear about other people's kids not sleeping well? DS has become a complete disaster at night. He'll sleep well for about four hours, then he's up pretty much every hour and a half until I get him up for the day. Then he's exhausted from a terrible night of sleep, so he's cranky until naptime... I'm working on sleep training, but I'm still sorting out what's going to work for us
