Due to my daughters Laryngomalacia, I had to stop breastfeeding as soon as she was diagnosed (1 month.) I have been exclusively pumping at home, at work, in the car, all the time. Still going. Will stop when she turns 1.

I'm still going but moving towards weaning. E will not nurse during the day at all, even when he's with me. He's too distracted and he'd rather eat solids. I cut out a pumping session as most of what I've been pumping gets poured out lately. He often drinks less than 10oz at daycare. So now I pump at home on the weekends too which is not fun.
He's still nursing at bed time, once at night and once early in the morning. It's possible he reverse cycled which is fine w me.
I'm ok w formula feeding at daycare now but I almost don't think I need to. Let's see how the next few weeks go. I also have about 500oz frozen I can use after I stop pumping.
Are you still BFing? How is it going? Will you stop at one year?
still BFIng and still going pretty well. I SAH and nurses 6x/day. DS went through a biting phase but hasn't for a couple of weeks. His top teeth cut through recently and I'm so scared that he might bite again...
i was planning on weaning at 1 yr but like PP said, I have no idea how to go about that at all. I also worry it may be harder since I SAH and bf (DS doesn't take a bottle). I guess I won't mind continuing morning nursing sessions as I enjoy those most when DS is calm & quiet. OTOH, if I want to start TTC, I'll have to wean completely as I can't BF while on fertility drugs.
TTC since 10/2008 RE consult 6/2010 Dx:Unexplaied IF
Failed multiple cycles of Clomid+TI and Clomid+IUI
He likes to bite now and laugh when I tell him "no" - he thinks it is hilarious. Ignoring it seems to work better but it is so hard when he catches me off guard!
I return to work when he turns one and I will not pump at work so I am hoping to keep the morning, after work and before bed nursing as long as he wants. Although I am also hoping to to get pregnant around the same time so that may change things. We will see how it goes.
STill going! LO is still nursing 6-8x a day...I think we will probably still be nursing past a year, but I'd like to cut down to maybe 3-4 sessions a day max, which I'm hoping he does on his own. I think part of the issue is that I offer very frequently, so maybe once he turns 1 year, I won't offer as much.
We're still going strong, BFing about 8 times a day...he would live on my milk alone if he had the choice... food is not his favorite. DS loves Bfing, he's only distracted when were in public. We will BF for sure until 12 months, but I hope to go until 16 to 18 months.
Yep. We still nurse 6 to 8 times a day. He's mostly STTN, but he does sometimes have wake ups and nurses then. I don't pump at all really. He won't really drink milk from a cup, and he absolutely won't take a bottle. He's completely distracted when we nurse, except at nap and bed times. He eats a ton of solids, so I think he gets most calories from that and not from me. I would like to wean at a year, but I'm not sure what'll happen. We'll just have to play it by ear.
I'm still going. I would like to go past 1 year. Things are going good. We are having some trouble with her taking my pumped milk now and her being extremely distracted. She is also a major biter.
Stil bfing. Will stop pumping at a year because I hate it but will continue to nurse morning and night. Ds loves solids so is eating a ton. He doesn't nurse too well when others are around he is too distractable. He went through a week. Biting phase at 4 months but is over it now.
I have battled low supply since Feb. and its finally getting the better of me... She gets one formula bottle a day right now, but my frozen stash is down to a paltry 3 bottles. I plan to keep pumping/ nursing what I can and supplement with formula until 1 year.
Still BFing 6-8 times a day when I'm home with DS. I pump when I work (20 hrs/week) if I have time and when I get home at night. DS gets whatever BM we have on hand and we supplement with Alimentum when I'm working. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will wean to WCM. DS had MPI and I was completely milk free for over 6 months. I've just started eating a little bit of cheese here and there and DS has had yogurt and cheese. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! My long term goal is 1 year but I definitely battled some supply issues when AF showed up last week. DS gets 3 meals a day, mix of finger foods and purees.
TTC #1 since 05/09
Me: Oligomenorrhea (workup for PCOS turned out to be negative)
DH: 1st SA 11/09: good volume but only 20% normal

1/10 My Tests: HSG All clear! B/W is normal!
2/10 Started Acupuncture
Still going strong. I had intended on 1 year being when I would begin to wean. I just have to wait and see at this point though, as DD has so many sensitivities, I am not sure what the best course of action will be.
We are still going strong BFing, I SAH so that makes a huge difference. I plan to start weaning at a year but have no idea how to go about it. I wouldnt mind nursing in the mornings or maybe 2x a day past a year. We are still nursing every 2-3 hours while awake and up 2x a night usually.

Still at it. She loves food that she can feed herself with. She still nurses throughout the day probably 4 times. Comfort nurses at night but has been doing that less and less. We always give her a formula bottle before bed and if we are out or i have a drink ahe gets formula. When I start teaching I am not planning to pump at school, maybe just at night. She will be 10 months. I plan to bf her morning and throughout the night. I am sure my supply will tank so it's possible she will be weaned before 12 months but not too much before. This is my first year teaching and I just feel that I will have enough on my plate to be trying to find time to pump. My goal was one year and I super happy with how far we have made it. I am sad that soon enough we won't be doing this anymore.

Still going strong. I nurse on-demand when I am at home, which can be 5-6times a day. Nights, I think I have him down to just 1 MOTN feeding now. Still pumping 3x/work. I want to quit pumping at 1 year since I will be working more. But I will continue to nurse past 1 year maybe AM and PM.
Like other PP's, I have no idea how to wean and I can't believe how much I will miss nursing!
Still at it. I nurse when I am home, and pump 2 times while I am at work (I go nurse at lunch). I am so over pumping. And my body just does not respond well to the pump... it takes me 40 minutes to get 3-4 oz! I just figure I've come this far... I only have 2 months left.
I am still at it at a little over 10 months. It is going really well. I work FT and pump twice on work days and normally only get 7-8 ounces. She generally takes 8-12 at daycare so I supplement with a few ounces of formula most daycare days.
I plan on dropping to one pump a day next week and hopefully stop pumping all together at 11.5 months. Right now I plan to wean at 12 months because I want some time to have my body just for me before TTC again, but if she doesn't take it well I am open to nursing morning and to sleep a while longer. Thankfully she is 90% night weaned already.
Considering 12 months was my absolute reach goal that I was pretty sure I would never attain, I am very excited to have made it this far.

Awesome job to all the nursing mommies! I still occasionally feel crappy that I EP but it's better than nothing.
You should NOT feel crappy!! EPing is SO tough--I give all EPs (and mamas who pump while at work FT) sooo much credit!!
