NWMR: Favorite Magazines?

Hey ladies!  My commute has changed, I'm now on public transportation for 10-20 minutes each way, and I'm looking for more reading material.  What are your favorite magazines?

 TIA!

When I travel, I always get Vanity Fair.  Great articles - often about the most random topics that I had no idea I could get so engrossed in!

  • I love Real Simple, Food Network Magazine, and the HGTV magazine. Do you have any hobbies? Most hobbies have specific publications!

  • I do the economist my source for all news. And just long enough for being a weekly publication.

Of the fun magazines I like girly stuff glamour, Marie Claire. Although I would feel too old to read them in public...lol.

  • I hate most women's magazines, so I end up reading my husband's Men's Journal.
  • The only "women's magazine" I still get is Self.  I always like their articles and information.  Otherwise my magazines are hobby specific - Food Network Magazine, Travel & Leisure, and Runner's World.

  • When I used to commute on the train, I got Vanity Fair- hands down my favorite magazine but after I was no longer on the train I had to stop the subscription b/c it was just too much to read it... I used to read Newsweek every week on the train too but I have switched recently to The Week for a weekly news magazine, I really like it. Those would be the two I'd get if I were back on public transportation again...
  • New Yorker, Atlantic, Vogue

    DH loves The Week.

Electronic copies (via zinio reader) - Parents, Stars, Backpacker, Budget Travel

I public commute as well.  Have you thought about an audio book?  Give it a try.
