Buying off Craigslist... Does this sound legit?

Posting for a city mini gt double for 400 retail 580. New still in sealed box.
It's an hour away and I asked about meeting somewhere. Response "actually I need to sell it this week to get money to fix my car."
It's a good deal if its legit. What do you think???

    It sounds like a good deal, but I'm usually leery of such great deal (if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is).  I bought many of M's stuff off CL, but sometimes it's hard to tell the seller's tone of voice over email.  Did you ask the seller why s/he is selling it NIB?  It'd be strange if s/he bought it and decided not to use it (could return it for a full refund)... so either h/she got it as a gift (or won it in a contest), or it's stolen merchandise???

    All of this. I have had good luck with CL but the email you got sounds a little shady. If you go for it make sure you bring a guy with you and meet in a very public place. You probably already know that though. :p

    I have emailed three times before and got responses within half hour. Last response I said I could pick it up tomorrow but could you send a pic of the box first and I'd like to open it to ensure contents before buying. That was 6 hours ago now. Darn it!

    I buy a ton off craigslist. I would still try and buy it but take someone with you. People want to sell fast so who knows what stories they tell. The ones I am weary about are the ones saying they will send a money order. Hell no to those ones.

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    well, you'll never know for sure, right?  If the seller replies, it's probably worth going to check it out.  I personally have sold m's stuff on CL at a very good price, and have picked up some incredible bargains.  Some ppl just want to get rid of their stuff ASAP. In your case, I guess it's just a bit strange it's a NIB double...
