My Back is going to BREAK!

Ugh! My lower back feels like it's just going to snap.  My DS just turned 12 months and he weighs 28 pounds.  He is standing and walking around the furniture but still not walking on his own and I have to bend over a lot and do lifting.  The first symptom of this pregnancy was increased lower back pain.  :( SO SORE!

This is my second and I had a c-section with DS so my stomach muscles are shot.  Anyone else?

Re: My Back is going to BREAK!

  • YES....... My DS is about 36 lbs (3years). I have hurt my back twice this summer unrelated to pregnancy & also have low back ache as symptom since BFP. Making myself go out & walk has helped (a little).

  • OBVIOUSLY I know to use my legs, but even with that my back hurts as I am sure many others does as well...

The reason for my post to GHOSTMONKEY is because she is a very negative person.  She is NEVER supportive and always have something rude or sarcastic to add and I just don't need it.  So, she and everyone like her will just be blocked.  There are so many great women on here that are supportive, even when the answer seems obvious.  And, I would like to thank them for that!  Good Luck to everyone!

After I see my doctor next week I am going to try prenatal yoga and see if it helps with stretching out the muscles and relaxation!

Out of curiosity, how does her response make her "total trash" and "a loser"?

Honestly, it was just the straw that broke the camel's back.  I have seen her be so rude and just nasty for no reason.  Why respond at all if it's just a flippant remark?  I see posts all the time that are redundant and make no sense, but I just choose to move past it.  If it weren't for the fact that I had seen some of her other posts, I would have just ignored her all together, but she just pissed me off and now I've blocked her and I'm moving on.

  • Whenever my back gets sore, I stretch my hamstrings and the muscle on the outer side of hamstring(IT band).  I can't TELL YOU how much it helps! Lay on your back with a towel or elastic band and pull leg toward your head, then pull it to far outside, then across the other leg to stretch your IT band.  I'm so mad it took me so many years to figure this out, so I HTH!

This sounds good! I'm going to give it a whirl when I get home from work this evening! Thanks so much:)

  • I know this post is old, but I hate to break it to you girls that picking up your kid isn't the only thing that causes back pain! What you do for a living, what sports you played, what type of mattress you have, previous injuries, etc. Wow. I feel bad for any friends that ask you for advice.
