Do you bring your own toys to a play date?

Do you bring your own toys to a play date?  If so, how many and what type?

 

My DD (6 months) has a play date today.  Her last play date happened when she was 3 months old and she slept through most of it.   The kids she'll (hopefully) be playing with are 3 years old and 18months.

    Depends on where the play date is. However because of the age difference I would bring something that you know will entertain your DD just in case the other kids doing something else. When we go to play dates I usually throw a few of DS's favorite toys in the bag. For him it is something to chew on, something that makes noise, something that has tags and/or a crinkly book. Have fun on your play date!

    I always have a few toys in the diaper bag-- I don't bring anything additional unless we are going somewhere who doesn't have kids or the kid is way older than my LO
