I freak out too. I'll roll around with them and be silly but DH takes it to a different level but I think it just looks rougher since he's do much bigger.
Yep. I read somewhere that it's really important for kids to have a dad/other non-mom figure who plays with them in a different (usually rougher) way than mom does, for development. I forget the specific reason though
BFP #1 9/2010 (lost our baby at 21 weeks)
BFP #2 8/2011 (ectopic pregnancy)
BFP #3 10/2011 (chemical pregnancy)
BFP #4 12/2011 (Abigail born 8/15/12)
BFP #5 5/2013 (Griffin born 1/23/14 with heart defects, now repaired!)
Oh jeez. I was the one that started the rough play with R when he was old enough to figure it out lol. DH is just as crazy as me and R loves to be tossed around in the air. He's a boy. He can handle it. :]

Re: dads play rough
ETA: clarity
DH and I married 8 years. Mom of three, stepmom of one.
This is us.
Same here! DD loves to "fly"
Yep! DH is the overprotective one, and is usually very delicate with her. I'm the one spinning her around and stuff.
