Cloth Diapering

AIO pocket question

So I put my guy in a BG pocket this morning. Although the legs were still a tiny bit loose, it worked. One question, though. If I'm putting it on the smallest size, do I stuff with an insert before snapping down to the smaller size, or do I snap down to a smaller size and then stuff with a folded insert? Sorry if this is a newbie question, I'm new at this.

Re: AIO pocket question

  • I've done it either way without problems. However, it is my assumption that we are supposed to snap to the smallest size and then stuff with folded insert.

  • You want to snap your diaper to the correct size on baby, and once it is sized, don't unsnap it. You can just leave it there until baby is big enough that you need to change the rise setting. You shouldn't have to be snapping anything when you are stuffing.

Also, just a terminology clarification - pockets and AIOs are two different types of diapers. AIOs are all in ones and don't need to be stuffed. I think you meant to say one size (OS) pocket question :)
