Up late watching tv since I can't sleep and this is all over several channels, as well as their sites:

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labor," read an official statement from the palace, released Monday morning, local time. "The Duchess traveled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge."

Kensington Palace confirms Kate entered the hospital shortly before 6 a.m. local time and went into labor naturally.

    I'm secretly hoping I'll have a baby today, too. 

    I'm guilty of probably caring way to much about the royal baby.  Oh well!

    Yep, very exciting!  I honestly would rather care about this than someone like the Kardashian's or Jessica Simpson who often lacks discretion.
    Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

    I'm excited for them to have a baby, super hopeful it's healthy.... but the hundreds of reporters camped out for 2 weeks?!? So silly in my book.  

    It's the most famous baby in the world, as they just said on Today. More famous than Kimye spawn and Blue Ivy. Smile

    I definitely care more about this than any of the recent dumb "celebrities" that had babies. I can't wait to hear the name, read details and see pics

    That said, I think the play by play on every news outlet is a little much

    They seem like incredibly down to earth people, given that they're royalty. I hope all goes well, Kate gets the birth she wants and they both get a healthy baby. I wonder if they will release pictures or the name right away.
