My husband is away, and I'm killing time. So I thought I'd post a GTYK: Baby Gear Edition. This is mostly for those of you who have been researching baby gear already, and have an idea about what you'll be buying/registering for.

I have most of this stuff from my 16 month old DD.

Infant carseat - BabyTrend.
Convertible carseat - DD is in a Safety 1st Complete Air 65 right now. I will either pass it down or buy whatever the current model of that is for this LO.
Baby carrier - Ergo. I waited way too long to get one, I love it.
Stroller - Snap&go then the Graco Trekko. I might be getting a double stroller now, maybe.
Diaper bag - undecided. I just bought a new one but the strap is killing my shoulder.
Monitor - summer infant video monitor.
Bassinet/Crib/Co-sleeper - RNP

FTM starting the research and shopping!
Infant carseat : no clue. I'm so overwhelmed.
Convertible carseat : not looking into this until it's needed
Baby carrier : I haven't researched this yet
Stroller : I'm leaning towards the Britax BAgile.
Diaper bag : I already bought a Kate Spade Stevie diaper bag
Monitor : haven't thought about it
Bassinet/Crib/Cosleeper : I'm getting a crib. If we decide to use something in our room at the beginning I'll borrow the cradle my mom used when my siblings and I were babies. I'm getting a white crib, probably the Graco Lauren Classic convertible, but I'm going to look into the Graco Charleston as well.

Not on your list :
Rocker : Best Chairs storytime series. Kersey model. It's a gray upholstered swivel rocker recliner. It's a new model and we found it at babies r us.
Dresser : I'm using the dresser I had growing up. It's a full size 6 drawer white dresser. I intend to put a changing pad on top.

Infant carseat - Peg Perego primo viaggo 30/30
Convertible carseat - Britax Boulevard 65. I'll probably just end up buying my older son a Britax Frontier 90 when he's 3 and I'm ready for the baby to be in a convertible.
Baby carrier - Ergo & ring sling
Stroller - BOB revolution SE
Diaper bag - Petunia Picklebottom weekender
Monitor - I never had one for my son, but I may buy one for this baby. We live in a smaller bungalow, so it's not really necessary.
Bassinet/Crib/Co-sleeper - We bed share until at least 1

Bassinet/Crib/Cosleeper definitely a rock and play. Considering a cosleeper and I haven't picked a crib yet

Convertible carseat: undecided. Just gave DS's to my cousin who has a 1 year old since it will be almost expired by the time baby would use it.
Baby carrier: I have a moby wrap
Stroller: chicco light way plus
Diaper bag: not sure
Monitor: we won't use one
Crib: I would love to get another generation next for this baby.

Stroller - Graco Evo for now (thinking about the 4Moms when we move back)

Monitor - Haven't decided, but want a video monitor
Bassinet/Crib/Co-sleeper - Will use a combo of a Pack n Play w/ bassinet, Rock n Play and Ikea crib

Infant carseat We have a KeyFit 30 that will be good until 11/14. We'll move baby to a convert. after it expires.
Convertible carseat We have an Evenflo Symphony with the side impact wings" for DS2 and I love it. I think we will get the upgraded model for baby.
Baby carrier Beco Gemini
Stroller old Graco duo glider and a Mia Moda sit and stand type stroller.
Diaper bag Something from BBB's selection ;
Monitor none, we haven't used a monitor since our first was a NB.

Baby carrier - Leaning towards a Moby
Stroller - Britax B-Agile, but I would love a BOB as well

Monitor - our house is fairly small, so I don't think we'll need one

Baby carrier favorites are Wrapsody semi stretch wrap and Ergo. I also have a sleepingbaby sling, woven wrap and catdog mei tai. Lol. I like babywearing I guess. But the first two are the best.

Stroller uppababy! With a bassinet and a regular seat.

Diaper bag dadgear backpack

Monitor Motorola video

Bassinet/Crib/Co crib, Canadian firm from buybuybaby. Can remember the name. For living room a rocking stand for the uppababy bassinett. For travel a Graco pack n play.

Infant carseat probably gracious snug ride 35. My two sisters and sil have it so if we buy one it'll be that one. We might end up being able to borrow one.
Convertible carseat we have a evenflo Titan for ds I think but can't remember and the cars not here to check. With this lo I might try to find one that is smaller so it takes a bit less space in the length. I am praying we have a van before this lo arrives so space won't be a huge issue anymore. Our dodge calibre sucks for car seats.
Baby carrier I have a wrap which is alright but I want a ring sling so I can baby wear more. Chasing ds and my daycare girl with a toddler will be easier I think with the sling.
Stroller we have a Safety first one that is basic and gets the job done for a single. My sister bought is a used baby trend double for 20!! Seriously! So excited for that!
Diaper bag we have a cute Winnie the Pooh one that we use for big trips but most often I use the one strap back pack one I got free from nestle. Monitor we bought the cheapest ones to replace fancier ones. We don't need bells and whistles just sound. They are so old school with a giant antennae. It's awesome.

Bassinet/Crib/Cosleeper last time ds slept in a playpen in our room for the first 4 months. This time were hoping dh can refinish an old bassinet of his parents before this lo arrives. Otherwise play pen again. Our crib is Preston by Shermag.

STM so I have most of this stuff already, so if I didn't like something I'll post why:

Infant carseat - Chicco Keyfit (not the 30, the smaller one. The 30 didn't fit well in our cars)
Convertible carseat - Britax Marathon 70-g3. We'll either buy another of these or get the next size up for DS)
Baby carrier - Just bought an Ergo
Stroller - Chicco Cortino for travel system and Chicco Liteway for everything else. I'm researching double strollers but haven't decided on one yet.
Diaper bag - I have a JJ Cole Mode Diaper Tote which I do not love, and another Trend Lab bag. A new diaper bag is definitely on my list since neither that I own is going to be able to handle two in cloth diapers.
Monitor - I have a Graco Digital Connect and it's terrible!
Bassinet/Crib/Co-sleeper - We used a pack n play in lieu of a bassinet, which worked out fine, and we'll be adding a rock n play.
We're probably getting a second crib since DS is still in his. Our current crib is a DaVinci Kalani Crib/Changer Combo. When we bought this crib (actually my mom bought it for us) DS's bedroom was configured perfectly for this system, but after we moved it didn't work very well so that is something to consider if you are looking at a system like this. Also, I can't keep anything in the top drawer of the changer because my DS can very easily (while standing in the crib) open the drawers and pull everything out! The wood of the crib is very soft and marks easily, so when we pick out a second crib we'll most likely avoid DaVinci.

Most of this is what we already have, but I'll play!
Infant carseat - Britax Chaperone
Convertible carseat - Britax Boulevard
Baby carrier - Ergo (But I want to get a ring sling, too).
Stroller - We have the Britax B-Agile and the Baby Trend Snap n' Go. I haven't decided on a double yet and probably won't until after the baby is here.
Diaper bag - I have the JJ Cole Norah. I probably won't get a new one.
Monitor - We have the motorola video monitor. We need a second camera.
Bassinet/Crib/Co-sleeper - We have a Pali crib that we'll reuse. We also used our PNP Newborn Napper, Snugabunny Swing and FP bouncer with DD#1. I'm thinking that we'll repeat the same with this one! I have the RNP, but didn't really use it with DD#1 so we'll try that again with #2!

Infant carseat we have a safety 1st from DS and I love it.
Convertible carseat I didnt get one till ds was 11 months. We have the graco myride 65 and a safety 1st 65.
Baby carrier I have a moby and will be getting an ergo.
Stroller travel system to safety 1st carseat.
Diaper bag vera
Monitor have an angel care. Will be getting a summer infant video monitor.
Bassinet/Crib/Cosleeper we have a bassinet from my mom and DS actually slept in his bouncer since you can lay it flat.

Stroller Snap N Go, then MacLaren Quest when she's big enough. We still have our Chicco full size but it's bulky and I won't use it

Diaper bag Kalencom LOVE! Plastic, easy clean coating and feet on the bottom

Monitor Summer Infant Slim Line video. Gets mixed reviews but ours has worked reliably for 2 years

Bassinet/Crib/Cosleeper crib is Graco Lauren. May get a FP Rock N Play as a bassinet, not sure

Diaper bag - Le Sportsac Ryan. I also have a large Marc Jacobs purse that I throw baby stuff in when it's just me and the kiddo
Monitor - This super cheap video monitor that got great reviews on Amazon - reviews were right, the thing works like a charm.
Bassinet/Crib/Co-sleeper - Last time we used the PNP in our room until about 3 months & transitioned to crib - LO would end up in my bed most nights in the end. This time considering the rock n play for right beside the bed, or maybe a co-sleeper...
